Spooky season is here and as Halloween themed treats hit the shops in abundance, Sanrio’s Cinnamoroll is getting into the spirit of things as part of a limited edition range of organic donuts!

Cinnamoroll and his friend Cappucino both feature as decorations for the new range from Floresta, a Japanese donut chain known for their use of only the freshest organic ingredients.

With Cinnamoroll and Cappucino dressed in cute halloween hats, each element of the donuts highlight a local ingredient – the halloween hats are each made of milk chocolate flavoured with local sweet potatoes, Cappucino’s brown fur is made with local kinako powder made from roasted soybeans and to top it off each puppy’s floppy ears are made of cashew nuts! The star featured on each donut is also made of locally sourced pumpkin, making for a super mix of sweet and savoury flavours.

Available for just two weeks this October, fans of donuts and Sanrio’s cute puppy mascots in Japan will be able to purchase the donuts from October 17th to October 31st. Available individually for 450 yen, boxes of the donuts containing two of each design will be available for just 2,100 yen. For those concerned about picking these up in store, boxes of four donuts will also be available to order online.
