Hot on the heels of their spooky ghost Pokémon desserts, the Pokémon Sweets store in Ikebukuro is celebrating the latest Pokémon movie with these awesome caramel and pudding Pikachu drinks!
From December 5th, 2020 to January 15th, 2021 the “Pikachu Sweets by Pokemon Cafe” at the Sunshine City Alpa mall in Ikebukuro, Tokyo will be selling a tasty new frappe drink.
The new Caramel Pika Pika Frappe features caramel sauce drizzled over whipped cream and chocolate chips! Although the name comes from the sauce used, the drink is actually pudding flavoured! Japanese pudding or “purin” is an egg custard dessert similar to vanilla pudding or creme caramel.
Each frappe purchased will feature one of four different sleeves. As this is a promotional item for Pokémon the Movie: Koko, these sleeves feature Pikachu in a safari hat and playing with a large jungle leaf! Pokémon the Movie: Koko is released in Japan on December 25th and will be available worldwide during 2021 under the title Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle.
